opportunities at all levels. The
Transylvania County Public Schools
enjoy a well-deserved reputation for excellence,
consistently ranking in the top 10% of school systems of North
Carolina. In 1995-1996 and 1996-1997, the
Transylvania County School System
was the number one system in the state!
The public school system is supplemented by a number of fine
private and pre-school programs.
After graduation, students may continue their studies locally.
Brevard College provides a four-year liberal arts
degree, and
Blue Ridge Community College, offers a two-year technical
and associate degree programs. Both schools offer a wide
variety of adult and continuing education classes.
